BI Analytics Company GoodData Adds Former VMware Executive as CFO
GoodData has hired former VMware (VMW) executive Pete Godbole as its new chief financial officer.
Software-as-a-service (SaaS) business intelligence analytics and reporting provider GoodData has added former VMware (VMW) executive Pete Godbole as its new chief financial officer. Godbole previously served as CFO for VMware’s end user computing business and brings over two decades of financial operations experience to GoodData.
“As GoodData continues to grow rapidly, we need operational excellence and direction to help us scale efficiently,” GoodData CEO Roman Stanek said in a prepared statement. “Pete has an impressive track record in scaling fast-paced enterprise software companies. I am excited to welcome Pete Godbole as we continue to expand our cloud BI platform to better serve our customers.”

GoodData said Godbole will oversee its finance, IT and legal operations.

Godbole will continue to support GoodData’s SaaS model for long-term, stable growth.”
What does Godbole’s addition mean for GoodData and its customers?

Godbole said he believes he can help GoodData scale its business model and extend its reach in the cloud analytics market.
