CloudHealth Technologies Adds Alert Logic Security Capabilities

CloudHealth Technologies has integrated a security-as-a-service (SECaaS) solution into its cloud service management platform.

The Boston-based cloud analytics and infrastructure company has announced a partnership with Alert Logic that will enable managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers (VARs) and other CloudHealth customers “to benefit from a deeper level of visibility into security management protocols within the CloudHealth platform.”

“By integrating Alert Logic’s market-leading security and compliance technologies into the CloudHealth platform, customers are able to benefit from unprecedented visibility that allows them to not only thrive in the cloud, but also be granted the peace of mind that their underlying AWS infrastructure is secure,” CloudHealth Technologies founder Joe Kinsella said in a prepared statement.

CloudHealth Technologies noted that Alert Logic integration allows customers to:

  • Supplement information by correlating asset event streams

  • Gain visibility into security posture across multiple workloads

  • Correlate security incidents, vulnerabilities and exposures across different business groups

  • Access infrastructure cost and security data through a single dashboard

  • Leverage Alert Logic to enable deep security insight, continuous protection and remediation intelligence

In addition, a CloudHealth Technologies spokesperson told MSPmentor that the Alert Logic integration ensures MSPs can provide their end customers with additional value-added services.

“We are providing [service providers] with the ability to easily expand services for their customers without the need to perform the integration on their own,” the spokesperson said. “They can now deliver more insight around applications and services vulnerabilities, while at the same time streamlining patching and configuration updates to remediate vulnerabilities, correlating security incidents to specific cloud resources to enable the speedy disruption of ongoing attacks, and identifying where a single vulnerability affects an entire environment.”

CloudHealth Technologies launched a version of its CloudHealth platform for MSPs in October.

The company said its CloudHealth platform gives service providers a single view of an entire cloud ecosystem, allowing them to align their cloud operations with business objectives, reduce costs and manage performance to meet service levels.
