CodeLathe Adds Multi-tenancy, Amazon S3 Storage Support to FileCloud
CodeLathe has made several updates to its FileCloud solution for MSPs.
CodeLathe is executing its plan to bring in more channel partners by making several updates to its enterprise file sync and sharing solution.
The Plano, Texas-based startup expects to strengthen its relationship with managed services providers (MSPs) by adding multi-tenancy, Amazon (AMZN) S3 and OpenStack storage support to Tonido FileCloud, its cloud-based enterprise file sync and share tool.
The new multi-tenancy feature is designed to allow MSPs to serve several customers using single instance of FileCloud, while the addition of Amazon S3 and OpenStack storage support provides IT administrators with infinite file storage scalability.
CodeLathe CEO Madhan Kanagavel told MSPmentor in an interview that current offerings in the marketplace follow a “one-solution-fits-all strategy.”
“But the truth is business workflows are different from business to business,” he said. “FileCloud capitalizes that opportunity.”
Speaking on FileCloud’s return on investment (ROI) for MSPs, Kanagavel said the following:
“FileCloud provides an additional revenue stream opportunity for MSPs who have an existing data center infrastructure or private cloud investments. MSPs can customize the FileCloud to meet the branding, security and file-sharing workflow needs of their business customers. The real value comes in personalizing the solution according to the end customer needs.”
FileCloud pricing plan starting starts at $999 per year. The company is offering free 30-day trial of FileCloud.
