A new partner program from Continuity Software hit the channel this week. Called AvailabilityGuard Channel Partner Program, the initiative will focus on high-availability and disaster-recovery software vendors.
The program will offer partners early access to the company's product-developments plans, referrals and co-branding, use of the AvailabilityGuard platform for identifying business-continuity vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure and training and support for sales and engineering, according to the company, which specializes in software to mitigate downtime and prevent data loss.
"The bottom-line objectives of Continuity Software's new AvailabilityGuard Channel Partner Program are quite simple. Our first goal is to enable our partners to enhance their trusted advisor status, increase sales success, shorten the sales cycle, and increase profitability," said Lior Itai, director of Channel and Business Development, Continuity Software. "Our second and equally critical goal is to make it as easy as possible for IT organizations around the world to obtain and deploy our AvailabilityGuard software to ensure their applications and information services remain highly available, protected and instantly recoverable in the event of an outage or disaster."
Continuity is targeting VARs, SIs, distributors, MSP and consultants for the new program. It said it has already engaged extensively with these parties, and now aims to extend and formalize its relationships through the partner network.
"By adding AvailabilityGuard to their offerings portfolio, value-added reseller (VAR), system integrator (SIs), distributor, and managed service provider (MSP) partners can enhance and extend their relationships with current clients, while also opening-up countless new lucrative client opportunities," according to the company. "End users benefit as they are now able to work with local trusted advisors to fortify their IT infrastructure against downtime and data loss."
