Granite Telecom Tops $1B in Annualized Revenue
Granite Telecommunications today announced it has surpassed $1 billion in annualized revenue.
Quincy, Massachusetts-based telecommunications provider Granite Telecommunications today announced it has surpassed $1 billion in annualized revenue.
Rob Hale, Granite’s CEO, said the milestone illustrates his company’s rapid growth over the past few years.
“Reaching the $1 billion mark has been a stated goal for the company for quite some time,” Hale said in a prepared statement. “Reaching $1 billion in annualized revenue means we are continuing to surpass the high expectations of our customer base for reliable, cost-effective communications solutions.”
Granite provides corporate communications support to North American companies, and its offerings include:
Dial-tone services
High-speed broadband support
Infrastructure solutions
Rand Currier, Granite’s chief operating officer told Talkin’ Cloud his company provides fully customizable billing that has helped it gain the trust and confidence of its customers.
“Granite achieved the billion dollar goal by earning the trust and confidence of its multisite business and governmental customers, one customer at a time,” he said.
What should Granite customers expect going forward?
Granite currently serves more than 13,500 North American customers, and Currier noted his company plans to bolster its account management and online portal to better support them.
Granite also plans to release new products and services that are designed to meet customers’ data needs.
“As demand for data continues to grow, Granite is providing an increased number of products and services designed to meet those demands, including access to fiber and wireless products and services,” Currier said.
