HP Enterprise Services has become SAP-certified, making HP one of the first partners to obtain this certification for global cloud services. SAP applications are now being delivered through HP’s Hybrid Delivery Cloud services, which can mean considerable benefits to clients who are currently using SAP applications.

What does SAP certification bring with it? Essentially, it’s a rubber stamp of approval to ensure end users increased flexibility to meet market demands, rapid provisioning to meet changing business needs, and a reliable infrastructure without having to invest in the capital to build out. HP’s new badge of honor covers application hosting, cloud management, disaster recovery and networking. Once two years have passed, however, HP must be re-certified.

HP sees this certification as part of the ongoing ‘race to the cloud,’ and marks its newfound ability to deliver SAP solutions inside its hybrid cloud as a general win-win, since it builds on HP and SAP’s 20-year relationship. For those working with HP directly, these services are now part of HP’s Instant-On Enterprise services, potentially bringing more to the table for new customers.
