HP Replaces Salesforce with Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Sales and Partnership Management

By Rod Trent

In a knock to Salesforce, Microsoft has announced a major win against its “soft” competitor. HP, Inc. has just signed a 6-year deal where the company will utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM, replacing Salesforce.com.

Jon Flaxman, COO for HP said…

"We have chosen Microsoft Dynamics as our CRM solution for our direct selling, partners and services. This brings us a cloud-based solution that delivers a more effective and efficient collaboration engine across our business."

HP, Inc., of course, is still in a state of transition since its split from the Enterprise segment of HP’s business. Microsoft has been making steady gains against Salesforce.com with recent reports that the software company is now the leader in SaaS, surpassing pioneer Salesforce in the enterprise software segment in a Q2 report.
