Ingram Micro Adds SkyKick to UK Cloud Portfolio
Ingram Micro's U.K. division has expanded its cloud portfolio for channel partners with the addition of SkyKick.
Ingram Micro (IM)’s U.K. division has expanded its cloud portfolio for channel partners with the welcoming of SkyKick, a provider of automated Microsoft (MSFT) Office 365 migration solutions.
Announced this week, the addition SkyKick Migration Suite will enable Ingram Micro partners — which include IT consultants, systems integrators, managed service providers and VARs — to automate and manage an entire Office 365 migration project.
“Migrating a customer from a hosted or on-premise environment to one that is cloud-based can be a major undertaking for channel partners for the simple reason that it takes time, expertise and resources,” said Apay Obang-Oyway, general manager at Ingram Micro Cloud, in a statement.

“SkyKick will help our partners by simplifying this entire process while providing the opportunity to deliver great value by reducing the time, risk and complexity of migration projects,” he said.
Seattle-based Skykick has secured $9.6 million in financing since 2012. It most recently raised $3 million in July 2014. The company founded in 2011 by Evan Richman and Todd Schwartz.
“We’re excited to enter the UK, one of the world’s biggest Office 365 markets, with Ingram Micro,” stated Eric Jewett, vice president of International at SkyKick. “In just over half a year working with Ingram in the United States, the SkyKick Migration Suite has helped many partners accelerate their Office 365 deployments.”
