Intel Names Paula Tolliver CIO

Intel (INTC) has named Paula Tolliver corporate vice president and chief information officer on Tuesday, replacing Kim Stevenson who has moved on to a new role at the company. In her role, Tolliver will report to Intel’s CFO, Stacy Smith.

According to the announcement, Tolliver joins Intel from Dow Chemical where she served as corporate VP of Business Services and CIO. 

“Paula brings both a depth and breadth of business, technology and strategic acumen that will be a tremendous asset to Intel,” Smith said in a statement. “We look forward to her leadership of Intel’s global IT organization and her contribution to corporate-level strategic initiatives.”

Stevenson is transitioning to COO for the Client and Internet of Things (IoT) Businesses and Systems Architecture (CISA) Group. 

The moves align with Intel’s broader initiatives to boost its IoT, big data and machine learning and high-performance computing capabilities.
