Cloud solutions and service provider InterCloud Systems (ICLD) has been elevated to VMware Partner-Enterprise status, as the company continues to gain stock with the virtualization giant. The title of Partner-Enterprise is currently one of the highest partnership levels within VMware’s (VMW) Partner Network.
“As an Enterprise-level partner, VMware recognizes InterCloud Systems as a go-to solution provider that can deliver the most comprehensive VMware solutions and services to our customers,” said Scott Davis, executive vice president of Sales at InterCloud, in a statement. “I am especially proud of our team’s execution. We were able to elevate our status from Professional to Enterprise in three short months!”
According to VMware, InterCloud earned the distinction of enterprise-level partner for its continued success within the VMware Partner Network, it range of expertise within the industry and its ability to provide customers with software-defined enterprise and cloud computing solutions and services.
The VMware Partner Network strives to provide a common framework for the company’s extensive reseller ecosystem. In June, VMware announced that cloud-hosted solutions provider Atlantic Metro Communications was named as an official member of the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP), which gives partners an OpEx strategy for investing in VMware’s infrastructure. Earlier this week, Aventis Systems earned the title of VMware Professional Solution Provider, giving it authorization to design, plan and deploy the company’s virtualization and cloud computing solutions.
