Jamcracker announced it added BlueTie Inc.’s e-mail and collaboration suite to its wholesale on-demand services delivery platform, Jamcracker Service Delivery Network (JSDN).

An alternative to Microsoft Exchange for SMBs, the BlueTie offering includes an AJAX-based Web interface with spam and virus protection, calendaring, desktop sharing and online meeting features, file storage and sharing, and integration with leading Web-based business services. BlueTie also supports all standard email protocols such as POP3, IMAP4, SMTP, as well as the industry-standard iCal and vCard protocols for interoperability with other messaging and groupware applications.

“BlueTie offers a powerful and comprehensive suite of messaging and collaboration tools that represent an excellent complement to the existing portfolio of on-demand services in the Jamcracker Services Delivery Network catalog,” said Nick Lallas, director – business development at Jamcracker. “We are pleased to offer our service provider and channel partners the ability to resell the BlueTie suite from the JSDN as a stand-alone service or bundled with their traditional telecom and IT offerings.”

JSDN enables telcos, ISPs, VARs, and software as a service (SaaS) vendors to deliver on-demand services to businesses.
