How can managed service providers (MSPs) reap the rewards of the Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) Cloud remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform?

Prakash Khot, chief technology officer at Kaseya, a Talkin’ Cloud 100 honoree, outlined the benefits of his company’s cloud-based platform during his presentation at this week’s Kaseya Connect conference in Orlando, Florida.

The VSA Cloud enables customers to access levels of scalability, security and performance that they would not have the means to build on their own, according to Khot. In addition, Kaseya is searching for parity between its on-premise and cloud options and will continue to explore ways to enhance its VSA Cloud platform.

“Depending on your respective situation, you can actually look at cloud as something that provides a lot of value,” Khot said. “We’re also going to make it easier for you to switch to the cloud.”

Khot also noted that the VSA Cloud is a horizontally scalable infrastructure, enabling users to add as much capacity as they need.

Cloud remains a top priority for Kaseya as well. Kaseya CEO Yogesh Gupta, for instance, pointed out that over 70 percent of his company’s new customers last year chose its cloud offering, which remains an integral part of his business’ strategy to supports MSPs and their customers.

Gupta added that Kaseya is working on a tool that does one-click point migration to the cloud to eliminate migration hurdles for both service providers and their customers.

“We’ve done an enormous amount of heavy lifting on our cloud,” Gupta said. “Over the last 12 months, we’ve invested millions in people who are experts in building phenomenal cloud infrastructures, and millions of dollars on infrastructure that’s hosted in North America.”
