Mezeo Software has inked a partnership with data infrastructure provider DataDirect Networks (DDN) to deliver DDN’s Web Object Scaler (WOS) on the Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform, allegedly easing scalability of complex applications. Here’s the scoop.

The Mezeo/DDN partnership comes by way of the Mezeo Ready technology partner program, which means that the cloud storage platform now natively integrates with WOS.

In Mezeo’s own words, WOS “offers a sophisticated cloud-based file storage technology that simplifies and improves how content is stored, distributed and accessed across multiple geographically dispersed sites.” That means it’s possible to use the Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform and deploy an object based, globally distributed cloud storage system with heightened performance and scalability, Mezeo claims.

“With WOS and Mezeo, customers can deploy a simple and scalable storage solution that doesn’t require storage systems expertise to setup and administer,” said Alex Bouzari, co-founder and CEO, DataDirect Networks, in a prepared statement.
