Cloud software management provider SkyKick is now offering its Cloud Backup application for free within Microsoft’s Internal Use Rights program.
Beginning immediately, Microsoft Action Pack, Silver and Gold competency partners can back up their Office 365 customer data on Microsoft Azure for free via the Microsoft Internal Use Rights (IUR) program. The application includes cloud-to-cloud backup, unlimited storage and instant recovery features for Office 365 data.
“Thousands of partners around the world have used SkyKick’s Migration Suites to move their customers to Office 365,” said SkyKick Co-CEO Evan Richman, in a statement. “The Azure IUR Cloud Backup offer is our next step forward in delivering innovative products which enable Microsoft partners to build a more profitable, efficient and risk-free cloud business all on one unified platform.”
The addition of SkyKick as a free resource is also expected to provide Microsoft partners with additional recurring revenue and profitability opportunities by eliminating customer data recovery time, according to the announcement.
“Recovering lost data can take partners hours,” said Gavriella Schuster, general manager of Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Group. “We’re excited to offer a solution that enables data to be easily recovered in seconds, allowing partners to focus on helping customers and increasing their revenue opportunities in the cloud.”
SkyKick also provides its Office 365 Migration Suites solution for free through the Microsoft Office 365 IUR program. Both offers are available to eligible partners through June 30, 2016.
