OSG Billing Services will manage invoice presentment and distribution services for One Communications as a result of a merger between CTC, Conversent Communications and Choice One Communications earlier this year.

One Communications, which now serves more than 160,000 businesses in 16 states, sought a common platform across the three companies in order to streamline the bill presentment process, the company said. Cliff Canaday, vice president of billing services for One Communications, said OSG Billing completed the transition in less than 30 days.

He said OSGs past relationship with Conversent played a big role in coming to the agreement.

OSG Billing Services helped eliminate the hassles often associated with migrating disparate systems to a common platform, Canaday said.

One Communications also expects to increase its marketing efforts through the invoice. One Communications said it will use OSG Dynamic Messaging, which allows the company to create customized messaging and targeted marketing campaigns.
