Outscale, a European cloud services provider (CSP), has embraced CA Technologies’ AppLogic cloud platform. Outscale will use AppLogic for an IaaS effort that involves independent software vendors.

Outscale is the latest in a growing list of MSPs that have embraced AppLogic. Many of those MSPs are in Las Vegas this week attending CA World. Also at the conference, CA is attempting to wash away any lingering doubts about the company’s transformation into a cloud platform provider for MSPs, VARs and cloud services providers.

While leveraging AppLogic, Outscale hopes to help ISVs (independent software vendors) to embrace SaaS business models and SaaS delivery pipelines. Outscale claims its customers will be able to build and deploy SaaS applications in “hours instead of days or weeks.”

Over time, CA Technologies hopes to create a network of AppLogic service providers, which will potentially allow SaaS companies and MSPs to more easily migrate customers from one service provider to another.
