Pariveda Solutions Becomes Newest Microsoft Windows Azure Circle Partner
January 12, 2012
Dallas-based cloud service provider Pariveda Solutions has become the latest Microsoft partner to score an invite to the Windows Azure Circle Program, giving it a voice in the future of the platform-as-a-service.
It’s not much of a surprise. According to Pariveda’s press release, it’s a Microsoft National Systems Integrator and Advanced Gold Competency partner, with ample experience in building custom customer solutions on top of Azure. A particular specialty, Pariveda boasts, is combining Azure PaaS with tablet computer front-ends “for a great mobile experience.” Moreover, Pariveda provides cloud consulting and roadmap services for customers who aren’t sure if they’re ready for the cloud yet.
It’s a similar story to Neudesic’s and Nimbo’s own ascensions to Azure’s inner circle. But unlike those two, Pariveda’s announcement highlights the value to customers of joining the Inner Circle program:
Customers benefit from Pariveda’s Windows Azure Circle program status by gaining access to Azure-experienced talent, access to Windows Azure Deployment planning services through Software Assurance and special access to the Azure platform for proof of concepts and testing.
Windows Azure has been on a roll recently. Adding Node.js support, potentially adding Linux support and, yes, letting partners advise on the platform, Microsoft is showing a real commitment to swallowing its pride developing its platform out in the ways it customers want. Needless to say, TalkinCloud will keep watching, so stay tuned.
