Cloud-enabled managed hosting and on-demand infrastructure provider SingleHop is interested in building out its ecosystem of technologies and partners that are fully integrated with its cloud offerings. To begin with, the company is partnering with security-as-a-service vendors.
The company today unveiled the Enterprise On Demand Technology Partner Program—or rather, the first phase of it, as a SingleHop spokesperson indicated further announcements are forthcoming.
To kick off the program, SingleHop has signed on Alert Logic and Radware—two companies that we’ve covered here on Talkin’ Cloud. Both are in the security-as-a-service space, and that’s the crux of this initial announcement regarding the program—integrating security offerings into SingleHop cloud services. If all goes well, those will be only the first two of many vendors to become technology partners through the new SingleHop program.
“We have a long history of leveraging our partners to deliver high quality cloud infrastructure and managed services to our customers around the world. Today, I am very proud to announce a formal program recognizing our outstanding partners, the launch of our Enterprise On Demand Technology Partner Program,” said Zak Boca, CEO of SingleHop, in a prepared statement. “Teaming up with category leaders like Alert Logic and Radware in the security space, allows us to provide higher levels of security and compliance to small and medium enterprises around the world, in an efficient, automated way.”
Through the program, SingleHop is aiming to provide a combination of enterprise-class technologies from top vendor partners that are integrated into its proprietary automation engine. It just so happened that the first partners to join the program were security-focused, but a SingleHop spokesperson told Talkin’ Cloud other partners—likely in other service areas—will be announced in time.
