Symmetry Corp. Joins HP CloudAgile Service Provider Program

Symmetry Corp. has become a Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) CloudAgile Service Provider partner. Here's an explanation of the HP CloudAgile Service Provider Program and how this program will affect Symmetry and its customers.

Symmetry Corp., an SAP-certified provider of cloud and hosting services, has joined the Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) CloudAgile Service Provider Program. As an HP CloudAgile Service Provider partner, Symmetry will work with HP to deliver superior managed services and cloud-based solutions to its SAP customers, according to a Symmetry press release.

“Over the last several years, HP and Symmetry have empowered hosting clients via a secure, high-performing HP cloud,” Kevin Knuese, Chief Technology Officer at Symmetry, said in a prepared statement. “We back our fully integrated, full-circle SAP-certified services with HP’s enterprise-class technologies.”

Symmetry provides project consulting, security administration and technical managed services for SAP customers around the globe. By joining the HP CloudAgile Service Provider Program, Symmetry now can leverage HP’s Converged Cloud solutions to deliver myriad services to enterprise customers.

“Together, HP and Symmetry offer customers unparalleled choices to securely, cost-effectively address their most pressing technological challenges,” Paul Kaeley, HP Enterprise Group’s vice president of service providers, said in a statement.

HP said that CloudAgile Service Provider partners offer numerous services, including:

  • Dedicated hosting

  • Hybrid cloud hosting

  • Managed hosting

  • Application-specific hosting for mission-critical applications

HP announced the CloudAgile Service Provider Program in June 2011. Since that time, HP has added several cloud services providers (CSPs) to its CloudAgile partner list, including CenturyLink Technology Solutions, NaviSite and Terremark.
