Synnex (SNX) is now offering a turnkey private cloud-based appliance made by Nebula, a Mountain View, Calif.-based company, to its channel partners.

This rack-level appliance is an integrated private cloud system engineered to deliver workloads for both Apache Cassandra and MongoDB. The appliance was designed to manage and store big data through an open and elastic infrastructure.

Cloudwick Labs, a Newark, Calif.-based systems integrator (SI), will manage the software integration on behalf of solution providers, the company said.

“Businesses rely on data to maintain a competitive edge and they need a way to run new applications and workloads quickly, removing the complexity that comes with a big data infrastructure,” Nebula CEO Gordon Stitt said in a prepared statement.

Synnex North American Distribution President Peter Larocque said in a statement that the IT distributor is dedicated to assisting customers with capitalizing on the growing need for private clouds.

“With more than half of enterprises prioritizing building private clouds through the end of the year, it is important that Synnex helps our customers find ways to capitalize on that wave,” he said.
