Intronis in March announced the Winter Release '15 of its Intronis ECHOplatform data protection platform.The Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based cloud backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions provider said its release was designed to help channel partners better support more complex cloud, virtualized and physical IT environments. Intronis ranked 49 on the Talkin' Cloud 100.
NewVoiceMedia in September unveiled Vision for Sales and Vision for Service apps powered by the Salesforce Wave Analytics Platform. The company said the apps "allow business users to deliver instant, deep analytics about customer communications so sales and service reps can boost sales performance and deliver better customer experiences." NewVoiceMedia ranked 44 on the Talkin' Cloud 100.
Rackspace (RAX) in February began offering an in-place upgrade path for its managed private cloud. The Windcrest, Texas-based managed cloud provider launched Rackspace Private Cloud Version 10, a new version of its managed private cloud that offers "first-class service with in-place upgrades." Rackspace ranked 12 on the Talkin' Cloud 100.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced plans to continue investing in partner enablement, adding partners and partner programs as well as regional expansions at this year's AWS re:Invent conference in Las Vegas. AWS ranked third on the Talkin' Cloud 100.
Microsoft (MSFT) last month unveiled the Microsoft Trust Center designed to serve as a single point of reference for cloud trust resources. The trust center includes information about Microsoft's enterprise cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Office 365. Microsoft ranked second on the Talkin' Cloud 100.
Hewlett-Packard officially split into two publicly held companies this year — HP Inc. (HPQ) and HP Enterprise, and the company used this year's Global Partner Conference in Las Vegas as a launch pad for several new initiatives centered on helping partners ease into the split. HP previously ranked 15 on the Talkin' Cloud 100.
IBM (IBM) began a layoff of up to 26 percent of its global workforce in January. Many of the layoffs occurred after SoftLayer CEO Lance Crosby announced his resignation. IBM ranked fourth on the Talkin' Cloud 100.
