Tech Data (TECD) unveiled several new additions to its TDCloud portfolio this week during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, including the expansion of its StreamOne provisioning and marketing engine to solution providers.
Beginning later this year, Tech Data will offer its StreamOne engine as a proprietary platform for resellers and MSPs, which will be available through white-label store fronts. This will allow partners to custom brand the StreamOne engine and use it for their own personal billing and provisioning needs.
Tech Data also announced an exclusive agreement with BitTitan to expand its end-to-end migration and onboarding solutions to solution providers in Europe, making the company’s portfolio available globally for the first time through the Tech Data Cloud Solutions Store. Prior to the announcement, BitTitan’s portfolio was only available in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
Beginning immediately, TDCloud will offer the complete portfolio of SkyKick migration products to solution providers in the United States. Additionally, an Office 365 Adoption bundle has also been added to the Cloud Solutions Store through an agreement with MessageOps. The managed service offering is expected to help solution providers provide customers with ways to accelerate their adoption and usage of Office 365, according to the announcement.
The distributor also announced its intent to offer Insightly, a customer relationship management software solution, through its cloud solutions portfolio to help SMBs increase sales and productivity, according to the company. Insightly’s CRM includes integration with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook 2013.
Finally, CloudGenera’s suite of solutions is now available in the TDCloud store, including the company’s assessment solutions and cloud analytics platform.
“Tech Data remains strategically focused on growing our solution providers’ cloud practices and our ongoing relationship with Microsoft helps us to fully enable cloud business development—through the CSP program and beyond,” said John Tonnison, executive vice president, Cloud Computing and chief information officer at Tech Data, in a statement. “We are excited to support Microsoft’s annual WPC event and add new cloud-connected products to our suite of solutions, making it even easier for solution providers and MSPs to grow their businesses with Tech Data.”
Tech Data has been named as Microsoft’s Distributor of the Year for two consecutive years, according to the company. Earlier this week, the distributor named Tonnison as the leader of its worldwide cloud business, responsible for overseeing the company’s cloud leadership in the Americas and EMEA.
For two years in a row, we’ve been honored as Microsoft’s Distributor of the Year—a testament to our commitment to a ‘Mobile First, Cloud First’ strategy—and we will continue to make significant investments to foster future growth in cloud computing.”
