Tech Data Signs Agreement with EarthLink

Tech Data (TECD) and EarthLink (ELNK) have inked a deal that adds EarthLink’s portfolio of managed cloud and support services to Tech Data’s TDCloud.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tech Data will offer EarthLink’s TechCare support service and the EarthLink Cloud Workspace desktop-as-a-service solution. Both services are available immediately to Tech Data partners.

“Adding EarthLink to the TDCloud portfolio gives our solution providers access to services that manage end-to-end IT support, communications and virtualization,” said Stacy Nethercoat, vice president of Product Marketing, TDCloud at Tech Data, in a statement.

“This new agreement with industry leader Tech Data will enable us to offer these compelling services to an even wider set of IT partners including VARs and MSPs,” said Sherri Turpin, EarthLink channel chief.

EarthLink recently earned the No. 1 ranking for the second consecutive year on The VAR Guy sister site MSPmentor‘s MSPmentor 501 Global Edition.

Last month, Tech Data appointed Nethercoat to her new position as VP of Product Marketing.
