Add Cloupia to the ever-growing list of companies unveiling new solutions at VMworld 2011 in Las Vegas this week. The company introduced Cloupia CloudGenie, an iPad application for managing both physical and virtual infrastructures.

Cloudpia claims CloudGenie is the first iPad application for data center orchestration, as it aims to ease deployment and management of workloads running on the cloud and simplify data center management and operations.

“Cloupia’s automated component discovery, monitoring, configuration, deployment reporting and capacity management capabilities empower IT organizations with the true self-service and automated nature of cloud implementations,” Cloupia VP of Products and Marketing Bhaskar Krishnamsetty said in a prepared statement. “It truly eliminates the overhead and expense of manual provisioning, monitoring and management of cloud infrastructure.”

Important to note: Cloupia said that it’s initially targeting Apple iOS devices, meaning we can likely expect CloudGenie to likely support Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 down the road.

Cloudpia is no stranger to the managed services market. The company partnered with OS33 in late June 2011 to power OS33’s Virtual Datcenter Controller for managed service providers. The Cloupia CloudGenie is on display at Booth #401 at VMworld 2011.
