Kerio Connect 7.4 Now Available for Apple iPad

Kerio Technologies, a company that develops internet technology solutions that allow businesses to connect, communicate, and collaborate securely, announced Kerio Connect 7.4, a messaging server that now extends Kerio Connect support to IT administrators’ iPads.

Kerio Connect 7.4 provides IT managers with full Web administration optimized for the iPad, which expand’s the tablet’s capabilities. With this update, IT managers can be up and about, while performing tasks like applying user access policies, setting up new user mailboxes, or browsing logs and troubleshooting the server. No longer do IT managers need to be in the workplace to do routine maintenance on the weekends.

Kerio Connect also supports new multi-gesture support, multiple finger scrolling, two-finger tap to get contextual menus, and toggling to hide the menu tree to maximize screen real estate. The ability for IT administrators to access user policies via the iPad is one of the newest features. IT administrators can now access email services, as well as restrict mobile device access for users, so they can regain some control over how employees remotely connect to the server.
