Channel Partners newcomer mySmartSimulations Inc. (Booth 3027) is showcasing its interactive training technology – specifically, the Worldwide Interactive Learning Designer (WILD), which may be sold worldwide.

mySmartSimulations launched WILD in April 2008 after nearly three years of development. End users such as manufacturers use the platform to create custom curricula for employees, a process that takes days rather than weeks. Workers can then learn, for example, how to assemble devices. WILD is ideal for custom training within any industry, according to mySmartSimulations.

There are two ways for channel partners to make money from selling WILD. Consultants receive a finder’s fee of five or 15 percent. mySmartSimulations supports the client while the consultant earns recurring revenue. The setup is a little different for VARs. Those partners buy WILD at up to 75 percent off the retail price; the service is rebrandable. VARs also can pursue authoring tool certification.

WILD comes with a library of interactions, animations and motions to help non-technical designers create custom interactive simulation and chapter-based courseware. There also are standard images, videos, animations and other training materials within the application.
