The company already has agreements with resellers in Western Europe and the United States, including Proact and World Wide Technology (WWT), which will market, sell and support E8 Storage’s appliance. The company also has expanded its sales force, adding two Europe-based employees in addition to its teams in the United States and Israel.

Andrew Flesch, E8 Storage’s vice president of sales, tells Channel Partners that as his company started signing up partners, it “became clear that a program will help set the standard to allow easier signing on of additional partners.” This is the company’s first partner program.

“The program helps provide a consistent answer to support structure, break-fix services and spare parts strategy, new product introductions and training,” he said.

Western Europe is important strategically for E8 Storage because of its strong financial services and retail markets, the company said. Proact already is engaged with multiple companies at various stages of the buying cycle for an E8 Storage offering.

WWT is working with E8 Storage to fulfill demand from strategic Wall Street customers.

“The program is an essential part of the (E8 Storage) channel strategy as it helps establish new partners quickly and in a consistent manner,” Flesch said.
