Savvis Expands Global Data Center Footprint
Savvis is adding two new data centers in Hong Kong and London and expanding eight existing data centers.

Savvis, the data center arm of CenturyLink, announced Tuesday that it is expanding its data center footprint in nine global markets, with two new data centers in Hong Kong and London and expansions of eight existing data centers delivering cloud, colocation and managed hosting services.
The additions and expansions offer approximately 85,000 square feet of new space, bringing the company’s total available data-center space to more than 2.4 million square feet across more than 50 data centers located throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
Specifically, Savvis has completed expansions to data centers in Atlanta, Boston, Singapore and Washington D.C. Expansions will be completed later this year in Dallas (July); Piscataway, N.J. (August); London (September) and Tampa (October).
The new data center in London opened in April and the Hong Kong facility is set to be completed in November.
