Continuing to ride its wave of new hires in this month, StorageCraft has tapped a new leader for its Western Hemisphere sales.
Lee Schor, a nine-year sales exec at Dell SonicWall, will serve as vice president, Americas sales, for the backup and storage provider.
Schor will focus on “strengthening existing partnerships and forging new relationships with managed service providers and value added resellers.”
Marvin Blough, who left Dell SonicWall to join StorageCraft as vice president of worldwide sales last week, said Schor will help the company accelerate growth in the Americas.
“Lee will allow us to aggressively move forward with our plans for a world-class channel ecosystem,” Blough said.
Schor emphasized just how important the channel is to StorageCraft, which has existed since 2003. The new hire said the company’s success “depends” on its MSP and VAR partners.{ad}
“Therefore, we are enhancing our efforts to help our partners be even more successful in meeting the backup and recovery needs of their clients,” he said. “We are also intensifying our efforts to on-board new partners in North and South America. Existing and new MSP and VAR partners will be excited about the new announcements and programs that are coming.”
Schor spent much of his career at Internet security provider SonicWALL, which Dell acquired in 2012. He most recently served as vice president of global strategic sales and MSP for Sophos.
StorageCraft has announced plenty of news about hiring in the past two weeks. Matt Medeiros was named CEO Jan 13. That came in connection with TA Associates’ agreement to invest $187 million in StorageCraft.
