Cambium Networks Signs Distribution Agreement with Jenne

Jenne Inc. adds network solutions vendor Cambium Networks to its enterprise portfolio line card.

Cambium Networks, a provider of wireless networking solutions, is the latest vendor added to distributor Jenne Inc.’s line card, the companies announced today.

Jenne will add the full line of Cambium Networks’ wireless network solutions to its enterprise networking portfolio. Cambuim’s product line includes enterprise Wi-Fi, fixed wireless broadband point-to-point infrastructure backhaul, point to multipoint distribution networks, and switching platforms. The Maestro cloud-based management system is also a Cambium offer.

“We have been very impressed with Cambium’s solutions and their corporate culture,” said Vince Piccolomini, vice president of business development at Jenne, a value-added technology distributor and master agent. “The addition of Cambium’s solutions will enable Jenne’s value-added resellers and service providers to offer highly reliable, best-in-class solutions to their end customers, allowing them to greatly extend network connectivity wirelessly in multiple settings, including campuses, cities and very wide and extensive geographical areas.”

Cambium Networks describes its access network solutions as flexible, scalable, available and manageable. The vendor focuses on verticals such as education, enterprise, federal government, hospitality, industrial, oil and gas, public Wi-Fi, retail, service providers and smart cities. Cambium targets rural internet broadband service providers with offers that help them offer small and medium businesses (SMBs) high-capacity network services.

Founded in 2011, Cambium Networks competitors include vendors such as Ruckus, Aerohive Networks, Ubiquiti Networks, and Riverbed/Xirrus, to name a few.

Less than two weeks ago, Jenne also became a distributor for FatPipe Networks, to deliver the vendor’s portfolio of SD-WAN services.
