Synnex Expands Its Digital Transformation Offers
Synnex adds new offers targeting UCC partners.

Synnex is beefing up its lineup of security and networking services and targeting them toward unified communications (UCC) partners. The distributor made the announcements this week at its 2019 Beyond Security Conference.
The series of new offerings include a cybersecurity program management tool, expanded Network Operations Center (NOC) offering, comprehensive security management support, and a next-generation tool that assesses emerging technology manufacturers. They are available through Synnex’s Westcon Americas division.

Offers that are available through Synnex ConvergeSolv Secure Networking Group include:
Cybersecurity program management tools, which provide a centralized system for seamless cyber program management. There are easy-to-navigate dashboards that deliver a dynamic representation of cyber program maturity and enterprise risks, allowing CISOs to engage key stakeholders while planning and prioritizing cybersecurity investments, the company said.
An expanded NOC offering that includes additional technologies and manufacturers for managed or monitored SKU-based solutions.
Comprehensive security management support through an SIEM and SOC-as-a-service offering, which allows partners to keep pace with opex capabilities that customers are looking for.
Access to a next-generation tool by Vation Ventures that assesses emerging technology manufacturers. The tool profiles and identifies key contacts, and exchanges feedback in an open forum, allowing resellers to more easily evaluate, learn, share and interact with new technology manufacturers. These partners also can buy their own licenses through the platform for on-demand access.
Synnex also announced the formation of a new Technology Modernization Council, to help resellers understand how to best leverage the distributor’s offerings in security, networking and UCC in the era of digital transformation.
