Cloud Sherpas, a top Google Apps and Salesforce.com cloud services brokerage, has acquired two more cloud integration companies. The latest targets are Innoveer Solutions and Navigis, which help customers migrate from Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) Siebel to Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), as well as to deploy ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) for IT service management.
The acquisitions arrive only a few weeks after Cloud Sherpas, a top 100 Cloud Services Provider, raised $40 million in new funding. The deals reinforce Cloud Sherpas’s effort to push far beyond traditional cloud consulting and reselling. The company has positioned itself as a cloud services brokerage, capable of integrating multiple third-party cloud services for customers.
Innoveer: From Siebel to Salesforce.com
Innoveer Solutions is a CRM cloud integration specialist that migrates Siebel customers to Salesforce.com. has a footprint in the U.S., U.K. and India. The transaction gives Cloud Sherpas its first physical presence in Europe, the company said. Innoveer has more than 750 customers and 2,000 deployments under its belt.
This is Cloud Sherpas’ second CRM-focused acquisition in the past month. Following this acquisition, the firm now has Salesforce.com Platinum Partner status in North America, Europe and Australia, the company said.
Navigis: IT Service Management Meets the Cloud
Meanwhile, buying Navigis will allow Cloud Sherpas to implement ServiceNow for customers. SeviceNow is a cloud-based IT service management platform. Navigis founder and CEO Philip Sidebottom will become president of Cloud Sherpas’ ServiceNow business unit with the acquisition.
Cloud Sherpas did not disclose financial details for each aquisition. But I’m left to wonder: Is the $40 million war chest now empty — or are there funds set aside for even more acquisitions? Talkin’ Cloud is checking.
