IPLogic, CloudSmartz Merge

IT services firm IPLogic Inc. said recently that it has merged with CloudSmartz, a fellow IT services company.

The transaction took effect Dec. 30 and brought the combined company size to about 100 employees. For IPLogic, the deal providers reach past its traditional Northeastern United States footprint, and, for CloudSmartz, it provides deeper engineer talent. Together, the companies, which have retained their individual names, are targeting mid-market and enterprise customers.

IPLogic, founded in 2001, is headquartered in Albany, N.Y., while CloudSmartz, founded in 2012, is based in Rochester, N.Y. CloudSmartz operates in other countries including India, Hong Kong and Singapore.
