Line Systems announced this week that it has acquired Magellan Hill Technologies, the N.J.-based communications provider. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Line Systems says the deal is part of its plan to combine organic growth with targeted acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

Magellan Hill’s customer base consists of businesses of all sizes, primarily located in southern New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania. They’ll now have access to Line Systems’ complete suite of enterprise-class dedicated connectivity, traditional telecom services and advanced/emerging technologies solutions.

“This is a complementary acquisition for us,” said Kevin McGeary, COO of Line Systems. ”Both companies are focused on providing world-class communications services to small and midsized businesses. We are very pleased to add Magellan Hill Technologies’ customers and seasoned team of sales professionals to Line Systems.”

“I am very excited about the integration of our South Jersey sales operation into the rich fabric of Line Systems. Their operating principles about how they run the business and their tireless focus on the customer experience marries quite well with our mission statement of offering the ultimate care for our customers, employees, and the community at all times,” said Brad Bono, CEO and founder of Magellan Hill.
