Matrix Networks Buys LANtelligence, Creates a CX-Automation ‘Powerhouse’

Matrix Networks is acquiring LANtelligence to create a new business after a decade of sharing resources with the company.

While each provided communication solutions and customer service and support, they had different focal points. LANtelligence focuses on driving automation with a CX practice. The company most recently took strides in the Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) space, revolutionizing contact center environments, it said.

Matrix Networks built out a practice that emphasizes managed connectivity solutions, essentially optimizing and simplifying business internet and data infrastructure. It also has a practice around the protection of end users with modern endpoint security solutions. Matrix Networks said the ability to serve clients together becomes much greater than what the two companies were doing individually. The team-up establishes a true end-to-end solution.

“Managed service providers are all Microsoft, software and the security specialists,” he said. “Very few have any network and carrier and none have any automation and IVA/CCaaS. “Yes, you have companies such as Amazon and Google, but they are product-specific and can only do some of the automation. We can take on projects that would otherwise require two to four different companies. We work together to match what we can do as a single unit. That’s pretty impressive.”

Kyle Holmes is president of Matrix Networks. He is equally thrilled to join forces with LANtelligence.
