NexusTek Promises 'Partner Opportunity' with Latest 3 Acquisitions
The purchases mark five acquisitions for NexusTek this year and eight in four years.
IT services and consulting firm NexusTek (No. 33 on the 2018 Channel Futures MSP 501) has completed three more acquisitions this year — Cal Net Technology Group, Syndeo Technologies and Decision Consultants (DCI).
The purchases in Southern California, Arizona and New England, respectively, mark five acquisitions for NexusTek this year and eight in four years, each of which “directly benefits customers by augmenting the company’s core competencies and ability to execute best practices.” NexusTek is backed by Abry Partners, a private-equity firm with more than $77 billion of leveraged transactions under its belt.
Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

NexusTek has more than doubled in size this year, now serving nearly 2,700 organizations in 47 states, providing customers with strategic guidance, technical support and professional services.
Cal Net and Syndeo are both MSPs, while Decision Consultants is a Microsoft and Cisco consulting partner.
All three companies have shown the ability to deliver “superior cloud and IT services,” which is in line with NexusTek’s goals, Jenner said.

Last month, NexusTek announced it acquired the cloud hosting, infrastructure and managed-services business units of Zumasys, a West Coast-based provider of cloud services.
