ZeroFox is acquiring LookingGlass Cyber Solutions, the provider of external attack surface management and global threat intelligence, for $26 million.

Integrating LookingGlass Cyber capabilities into the ZeroFox external cybersecurity platform will allow customers to build a strong security posture. ZeroFox will provide visibility into external attack surface assets and vulnerabilities, including improved intelligence to disrupt emergent threats.

ZeroFox should close the acquisition within the next 30 days.

Benefits for ZeroFox Partners

James Foster, ZeroFox’s CEO, said this acquisition benefits ZeroFox partners by enhancing his company’s existing solutions and accelerating the development of future products. Partners can resell a broader range of offerings to solve for external cybersecurity risks.

“With the acquisition of LookingGlass, ZeroFox partners and customers will have increased visibility and vulnerability intelligence for digital assets outside the perimeter,” he said. “We are excited about the expanded capabilities of our end-to-end external cybersecurity solution.”

The acquisition of LookingGlass Cyber bolsters ZeroFox’s strategy of providing customers with a single end-to-end platform for protecting their organization from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, Foster said.

Stronger Fight Against Cyber Threats

LookingGlass Cyber has partners largely in the federal space, Foster said.

“The additional scale and capabilities from our newly combined companies will give partners and customers expanded access to attack surface management and threat intelligence capabilities, allowing them to fight back against the full lifecycle of external cyber threats,” he said.

LookingGlass Cyber helps public sector organizations, large enterprises and industry security alliances by providing extensive discovery, intelligence and cyber defense capabilities. These capabilities allow organizations to identify and assess threats in support of remediation strategies against the most sophisticated cyberattacks.

Bryan Ware, LookingGlass Cyber‘ CEO, said his company’s mission is to protect its customers by providing “unmatched” attack surface intelligence for global threat visibility and cyberattack disruption.

“Joining ZeroFox allows us to expand the capabilities we provide security teams to defend against cybercriminals and nation-state actors.” he said.

Ware will join ZeroFox’s executive team as part of the transaction.
