Intelligent Technical Solutions (ITS), an MSP based in Las Vegas, has acquired five MSPs as the company expands its geographic footprint.

The MSP acquisitions include Granite Computer Solutions, Tempe, Arizona; BrightWire Networks, Olympia, Washington; Ox Power Computing Service, Phoenix; ProTechnical, Reno, Nevada; and A Leap Ahead IT, Sacramento, California. All of them provide managed IT services.

Tom Andrulis, CEO of ITS, a portfolio company of Tower Arch Capital, said all of the companies’ founders worked with ITS on the deals. Intelligent Technical Solutions, he added, has developed strong relationships with them over the last several years.

“We share a like-minded approach to our work, and collectively, our footprint and capabilities will lead to significant expansion for ITS in the western United States,” said Todd Whitley, CEO of Brightwire Networks, which ranked No. 196 on Channel Futures’ 2022 MSP 501 list of top managed service providers.

ITS did not disclose terms of the deal. Deerpath Capital provided financing for the transactions. Holland & Hart and Farrell Advisory advised ITS on the deals. ITS’ move is just the latest in a hot M&A market.

ITS, which ranked No. 243 on the MSP 501, provides managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, VoIP and fiber internet services to small and medium sized businesses throughout the Midwest and western United States.

Tower Arch, a private equity firm, bought ITS last July in its first MSP play.

“As a collective team, our priority is to continue providing best-in-class IT services to our customers,” Andrulis said. “Looking forward, we are well-capitalized with the support of Tower Arch Capital to continue growth through acquisition, as well as investing in new and existing locations and services.”
