Asentinel Unveils Mobile App for TEM

Asentinel unveiled Monday Asentinel Mobile, a mobile application for telecom expense management that allows access to inventory, invoices, orders and business intelligence on the go.

Asentinel Mobile allows customers remote access to Asentinel 6.0, its patented TEM application, which serves as the central repository for telecom assets and provides clients with an automated process and application to manage the entire telecom lifecycle.

“Asentinel Mobile lets an executive approve invoices from the road, a telecom manager access dashboards and invoices in real-time during a meeting with a carrier or a technician search inventory and manage orders while at a remote site,” said David C. Perdue, CEO of Asentinel. “In other words, it allows them to truly manage their telecom environment from anywhere, more efficiently than ever before.”

Features include customizable dashboards, real-time access to an unlimited number of customer defined inventory fields, status of MACDs, invoice approval and global search.

For Asentinel’s Managed, Professional services or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) customers, Asentinel Mobile provides transparency to the actions taken on their behalf.

Asentinel Mobile is compatible with iPhone and Android phones. A version for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile will follow.

“By creating native mobile applications instead of doing a mobile Web site version, we allow our user to access data faster because it will be cached in the application,” said Jason Fisher, Asentinel’s chief software architect.
