Mississippi-based C Spire Wireless, America’s eighth-largest wireless company that operates in the southern U.S., is following in the footsteps of AT&T and Verizon by rolling out plans offering 10 GB of data for $160 per month, while Boost Mobile – one of Sprint‘s prepaid arms – is adding plans with unlimited talk, text and data beginning at $40 a month.

The C Spire plan features four lines with unlimited voice and text plus the 10 GB of data for $160 a month. And last month, the company added a $65 plan offering unlimited nationwide talk and text with no limits on data and no overages.

In addition to the multi-line shared plans, C Spire also introduced new pricing for smaller allocations of data, which are $25 for 1 GB or $40 for 2 GB of data, a savings of $20 a month for each option. The company also added a new 3 GB option for $60 a month.

“Giving our customers plans that work for their lives and their wallets has always been our top priority, which is why we created our new lineup of tiered Shared Data Plans. Whether it’s a family of four or a small business with specific data requirements, C Spire has a shared plan that fits their needs,” said Suzy Hays, senior vice president of Consumer Markets for C Spire. “Our new Shared Data Plans allow you to use your device exactly how you want and when you want for less than the competition, and when you combine our advanced 4G LTE wireless network, iconic devices and our unique PERCS loyalty rewards, C Spire clearly comes out on top as the best value in wireless.”

Boost’s new unlimited plans are available on any phone the company offers. All have unlimited talk, text, and data, with the $40 plan offering 500 MB of 3G/4G data, the $50 plan offering 2.5 GB and the $60 plan offering 5 GB.

“With the unveiling of Monthly Unlimited Select, Boost Mobile once again evens out the playing field with compelling, competitively priced offers,” Sprint Prepaid Group President Dow Draper said. “This new package reflects what we hear our customers want: straightforward, value-oriented options that provide more or less data depending on their individual needs.”
