Envivio Inc. is presenting its new mobile TV encoder for 3G networks at the 3GSM World Congress.
The 1-RU encoder with quad channel input supports multirates, multiresolutions and multistandards. Compliant with international mobile delivery standards including 3GPP and 3GPP2, the encoder allows operators to distribute audio and video to mobile phone and television subscribers.
The encoder features four analog video inputs, four analog stereo inputs, IP interfaces, simultaneous output profiles from a single input, support for live bit stream switching, and support for most 1G, 2G, 2.5G and 3G mobile video applications.
The encoder will ship in the first half of 2007.
