G12 Communications Receives Mitel Certification for SIP Trunking

G12 Communications has been granted Mitel-Compatible Test Certification for its G12 Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunking solution and the Mitel MiVoice Office 250 Release 6 business communications platform.

With Mitel’s approval, G12’s reseller network now has greater access to all of Mitel’s customers, effectively creating a larger pool of potential buyers to boost sales and increase profit margins.

“Building and maintaining the right technology relationships to deliver customers high-value integrated solutions is a critical component for success in the business communications marketplace,” said David Lowenstein, director of Business Development for Mitel Solutions Alliance, in a statement. “Mitel works with best-of-breed companies like G12 Communications to deliver complete solutions that address the business challenges of our customers.”

For those unfamiliar with SIP Trunking, the company’s solution is built on an active-active geo-redundant network with dynamic failover, giving customers access to two Point of Presence (PoP) locations and automatically providing failover to a second data connection, respectively.

The Seattle-based unified communication services provider said it is working to achieve certification will all major PBX vendors in the United States. G12 received PBX certification from several other companies last year, including last year’s qualification with Microsoft Lync 2013.

“Our customer experience has been the foundation of our success,” said Rick Coma, CEO of G12 Communications. “Our customers expect a high quality, enterprise-grade SIP Trunking solution fully supported by their infrastructure partners like Mitel. Certifying with Mitel for customers and partners further improves our customers’ experience.”
