The HTC ThunderBolt, the first 4G phone to run on Verizon Wireless LTE network, is scheduled to debut February 24.
Thats according to Boy Genius Report.
Running on Googles Android 2.2 platform and featuring a 4.3-inch touchscreen, the ThunderBolt is one of the first smartphones to integrate a feature that allows users to make Skype video calls, according to Verizon Wireless.
On Monday, Best Buy announced that it will carry the ThunderBolt as a national retail exclusive” and said it was taking presale orders.
ThunderBolt users can download a song in less than four seconds and download 20 photos in just a minute, according to Best Buy. The smartphone also includes Dolby surround sound, an 8-megapixel camera and HD video recording. Verizon Wireless said the device can stream and share content directly with compatible home theater components, including HDTVs and stereo receivers that feature built-in DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) support.
