Ingram Micro Mobility (IM) this week announced it will provide IT resellers with end-to-end, M2M and mobility solutions via the Verizon Partner Program (VPP). As a member of VPP, Ingram Micro Mobility can also now leverage Verizon account teams for pricing, engineering support and customer service.

“Joining the Verizon Partner Program provides resellers with more opportunities to deliver a complete mobile solution, including activation, software, hardware, accessories, etc. This is ideal for resellers who have wanted to activate on the Verizon network, while taking advantage of all the supply chain services Ingram Micro Mobility has to offer,” an Ingram Micro Mobility spokesperson told Talkin’ Cloud.

Adam Famularo, Verizon Enterprise Solutions‘ vice president of global channels, added that he believes Verizon and Ingram Micro Mobility together “can further enable businesses in key verticals to take advantage of high-performance, high-reliability solutions.”

So what does VPP mean for Ingram Micro Mobility and its customers? The Santa Ana, California-based IT distributor said the program advances the deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) offerings by enabling Ingram Micro Mobility’s value-added distribution.

Additionally, Ingram Micro Mobility said VPP is ideal for several channel verticals, including:

  • Education.

  • Healthcare.

  • Retail.

  • Transportation.

Ingram Micro Mobility noted that all of its VPP offerings are powered by Verizon’s 4G LTE and global IP networks, too.

VPP tailors regional and national opportunities for agents, solution providers, systems integrators and value-added resellers (VARs) “to accelerate delivery and adoption of solutions for meeting medium business requirements,” according to Ingram Micro Mobility.

The program also provides partners with marketing resources and training and certification for Verizon products and solutions.
