There definitely won’t be an iPhone from Verizon Wireless until at least 2011, according to a new report from a Broadpoint AmTech analyst. Brian Marshall says AT&T and Apple extended their exclusive deal for the iPhone as part of the agreement that made the iPad available on AT&T’s wireless network.

Of course, Marshall thought it was a lock that the iPad would go to Verizon, but that didn’t come to fruition.

While it’s been a hot topic for a couple of years, talk of a Verizon iPhone has really heated up in the last couple of months. Just this week, a survey was released that indicated almost half of non-AT&T customers would consider buying an iPhone if it were available on their wireless network.

There’s no official word from any of the companies involved.
