Rivermine and BBR Wireless Management Announce Merger

TEM provider Rivermine announced a merger with BBR Wireless Management. The companies said they merged to meet ongoing, high demand for unified wireline and wireless expense management solutions from global customers and channel partners. Coming together under the Rivermine name, the combined entity will have an installed base of more than 225 companies.

“End-user organizations tell us through our research that while they need both wireless and wireline expense management solutions, they prefer a unified vendor offering that addresses both sides of the coin,” said Philippe Winthrop, research director for wireless and mobility at Aberdeen Group. “Rivermine stands among very few pure play TEM companies that are responding to the demand for a unified wireline and wireless expense management vision.”

Rivermines and BBR Wireless Managements products and services were already seamlessly integrated as part of a partnership that was announced in the first quarter of 2007. In addition, the expanded companys global channel partnersincluding two of the largest IT outsourcing and systems integration firms with offices in more than 170 countrieswill be able to deliver Rivermines unified solutions to their massive domestic and international customer bases, the companies reported.
