Verizon Wireless has a pair of new offers for its customers.

Customers who activate a new smartphone or upgrade to one on a More Everything plan will get an extra gigabyte of data to share. You have to have a More Everything plan with at least 1GB to get the extra gig. As long as your smartphone remains active, you’ll get the extra 1GB each month for two years.

More Everything customers already get unlimited talk, text and international messaging from the U.S., as well as additional cloud storage, NFL Mobile and free access to Verizon education tools.

The carrier also announced that for a limited time, customers who activate a new smartphone or upgrade to a smartphone on a single-line plan can get 2GB of data for $60 monthly access — $50 per month if buy their smartphone using the Verizon Edge device-upgrade plan.

Rival Sprint is expected to announced drastic cuts to its prices any day now.
