Tech distribution giant Ingram Micro has a new deal with a consortium of four of Verizon Wireless‘ largest national dealers.
The terms of the agreement call for Ingram Micro Mobility to be the preferred handset distributor and services provider for Verizon Wireless retailers A Wireless, Diamond Wireless, Go Wireless and Moorehead Communications dba as TCC.
The multi-year deal means that Ingram Micro Mobility will integrate directly into more than 1,750 points of sale and will provide the 360 Group (the consortium) with a suite of supply-chain services, including supply-chain management, strategic sourcing, device life-cycle management, logistics services, and reverse logistics and demand planning services. Services under the agreement are expected to begin before the end of the quarter.
Ingram Micro “provides a level of supply chain transparency unparalleled in our industry that each member of the 360 Group will leverage to further improve overall supply chain efficiency,” said Troy Crosland, president of Diamond Wireless.
“This is an excellent partnership which will benefit both Ingram Micro Mobility and 360 Group as we bring our highly complementary competencies together,” said Bashar Nejdawi, Ingram Micro president, North America Mobility.
