Mitel has launched two new cloud-centric partner programs, Mitel Amplify and Velocity. They offer more choice and flexibility for partners, the company said.

Partners can align Mitel cloud opportunities with their preferred business model. Therefore, they can optimize revenue potential and strengthen customer relationships.

Lana King is Mitel‘s vice president of partner programs, training and enablement. She said customers’ communication and collaboration needs have changed.

“And the demand for cloud communications has increased,” she said. “Customers are looking for trusted advisers and cloud experts to ensure their needs are understood and met. Our new programs enable our partners to serve in that critical role while offering an award-winning cloud solution with MiCloud Connect.”

Amplify for Agent Advisers

Mitel designed Amplify for the agent community. It offers competitive benefits and centralized cloud resources to help agents win share and close deals faster.

“Amplify for our agent adviser community was developed in response to agent feedback and offers our agent community of partners access to free sales and technical training, quick opportunity registration, easy access to quarterly offers and SPIFs, and of course our expert sales and sales engineer resources, all with the intent of accelerating sales and closing deals more quickly,” King said.

Amplify removes barriers and increases agent expertise to support an “ideal partner and customer experience,” she said.

Agent advisers benefit from a dedicated account manager. They also get specialized sales, marketing and technical support throughout the deal process, and competitive commissions, incentives and promotions. The program further provides deal support through Mitel’s FastTrack opportunity registration model, as well as an agent-focused online resource center and exclusive communications.

Mitel Velocity Offers More Partner Benefits

Mitel Velocity encompasses the company’s partner-led cloud go-to-market models. It includes MiCloud Connect Partner Managed, which has seen significant interest from partners since it launched in February.

“As we consider Velocity, specifically, our new Partner Managed go-to-market model, the program was designed for our partners, with our partners,” King said. “We engaged with pilot partners early on in the design process and solicited input on processes, tools and commercials.”

Velocity expands the resource, reward and recognition benefits for partners who want a deeper role in cloud service delivery and customer engagement. Certified Velocity partners get dedicated business planning, executive support and premier recognition for achieving the top level of cloud certification.

Partner Managed partners can join Velocity. Mitel plans to extend program coverage to include additional partner-delivered models for MiCloud Connect and MiCloud Flex.

Blake Darling is president of Complete Communications.

“The past year reinforced the critical role partners play in helping organizations leverage cloud technologies to not only adapt to the needs of today’s workplace, but to accelerate growth as well,” he said. “Mitel’s deep understanding of the channel is evident in the fact that they’ve taken the time to create [the Amplify] program that champions the unique perspectives and cloud focus of the agent community.”
