Agent Alliance Names New Board
April 20, 2007
By Khali Henderson
The Agent Alliance, a buying consortium and professional association of agents, elected new officers and expanded its executive board for 2007-2008.
At its March 4 meeting concurrent with the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, the group elected Ben Humphreys, president and CEO of Comtel Communications, as its president. Daryl Heller, president and CEO, Premier Companies LLC, will serve as vice president, and Jim Butler, president of TeleCHOICE, will be secretary/treasurer.
Members also decided to expand the alliances executive committee a move that required a change in the bylaws, which was approved earlier this month, delaying the election announcement.
The executive committee has responsibility for day-to-day operations for the Agent Alliance. In addition to the newly elected officers, members of the expanded executive committee include Brad Miehl, CEO, MicroCorp; Bill Power, president, ARG; Mark Koon, CEO, ABS Telecom; Dan Bommer, president, PartnerTEL; and Ernie Kelly, who is the alliances executive director.
Members will hold these posts until the groups annual meeting in spring 2008.
